While in San Francisco for two weeks, they visited their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Coverdale Jr. and their youngest grand child, Christine Coverdale, age 1, and Billy, age 3. The Oriental culture and people, the beautiful tropical flowers, as well as famous WaikikiBeach, dominated by Diamond Head (an extinct volcano), Hawaiian dan cers and singers, vacationers from all the world, visits through fields and factories of pineapple and sugar cane, views of the many U.S. military reser vations, including Pearl Har bor—-all make a Hawaiian vaca tion memorable, the couple notes. A pleasant part of the Campbell's stay in Honolulu was a visit with Mrs. Robert Broome, a former teacher at Appalachian Elementary School and now teaching in Honolulu schools the past year. Before returning home, the Campbells visited friends in Kansas City, Oklahoma City and Phoenix and spent three days in Boulder, Colo, with friends.
